Working with people who aspire to do great things is what I love to do. I have been successful with these three major programs as
part of the help that I provide to my clients:
- Interviewing Skills That Get Results
- Building Networking Skills That Get You in Front of Hiring Managers
- How to Reinvent Yourself to Transition Into Your Next Job or your first job
I am a seasoned Human Resources professional and now retired with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in career
coaching, mentoring, full-cycle recruitment of both clinical and non-clinical staff in healthcare and has a passion for matching the right people to the right jobs! I developed a love for
making sure the individuals that I worked with had clear and attainable career goals. I am the CEO and Owner of LCM Career Coaching and in the process of relaunching this business!
I am also in the processing of getting certified as a life coach.
For the last 4 years, I have worked as a Recruiting Consultant for Atrius Health and retired in January 2020.
I spent several years at BWH and my last 3 years there were the most memorable. I was the Lead Staffing
Consultant for the Nurse Recruitment Team and not only did I lead my team and continue to hire staff, but I also had the opportunity to work with multiple nursing students to provide career coaching,
mentorship, and overall encouragement and support. I worked closely with the UMass Boston Clinical Leadership Collaborative for Diversity in Nursing Program, where my team and I played an
instrumental role placing these students into positions at BWH once they graduated and took the nursing exam. I have a passion for working with young clinical professionals of color because I
know what a challenge it can be for them to get jobs, especially as new graduates. I wanted to make sure that they got the same opportunities as everyone else and know how important it is to
have a clinical staff in the hospital setting where they reflect the patient population. This is one of the reasons why I went into the career coaching business - to reach out and
help all young people who need that help and guidance AND much-needed direction! While health care is where my expertise lies, I have guided and helped individuals in all industries!
I am a woman of faith and believe that God has ordered my steps! I love people and want to make a difference
in the lives of people who aspire to do great things.
I’m involved in several community organizations, i.e., the Brockton Area NAACP (the Education Chair), the Citizen’s
Advisory Board for the Department of Development Services, the Brockton Democratic Committee, and the Network for Women in Business to name a few.
I was born and raised in Cambridge, MA but now reside in Brockton, MA where I live with her husband Thomas and
teenage daughter Kimberley. I also have an older daughter Tonya, who has two children, my grandchildren Daishaun and Taylor.
