I started LCM Career Coaching in early 2015 because I was passionate about helping people find great careers!

More about Leona:

I am a seasoned Human Resources professional with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in career coaching, mentoring, full cycle recruitment of both clinical and non-clinical staff in healthcare and have a passion for matching the right people to the right jobs!  I developed a love for making sure the individuals that I work with have clear and attainable career goals.

From 2015-2020 I worked as a Recruiting Consultant for Atrius Health/Harvard Vanguard and retired from my corporate role in January 2020. I started my career coaching business in 2015 on a part-time basis and relaunched full time in February 2020.  While I am passionate about working with any and all professionals, I gravitated to people of color because I saw the challenges they were having getting hired and presenting themselves in a way that got results.  They needed me to help them prepare and get ready for the professional world  in order to ace the interview, build confidence and market themselves. And yes, that they belonged wherever they wanted to be!  I wanted to make sure that they got the same opportunities as everyone else and understood the importance of knowing how vital it is to have a clinical staff in the hospital that reflected the patient population. This is one of the reasons why I went into the career coaching business -  to reach out and help all people who needed that support and guidance AND much needed direction!  While health care is where my expertise lies, I have guided and helped individuals in all industries!

I love to network, travel, listen to music, spend time with family and friends and taking in a good Lifetime movie!
